1. Shoes polish - This may not seem like a big deal, but it is. Employers always look for a disciplined worker to fill their vacancy. Having polished shoes is a sign that you are taking your interview seriously and that you are able to do the tasks which are given.
2. Clean cut - Shave, get a haircut, and a bath are important things if you want to give off the clean cut facade. Having all these things done before your interview is important for your first impression face to face. No one wants to be in the same room as someone who doesn't take the time to bathe and make their appearance neat and clean.
3. Suit coats a necessity - Depending on the job, you may want to dress in your best suit and tie. It is always good to remember what the other employees are wearing. Having the same type of wardrobe as the employees and dressing like you have the job already will increase your chances. Just don't catch the employees during casual Friday. That would be a mistake.
4. Dress for success - This goes along with the rest of the steps. Dressing for success means that you are wearing clothes that make people want to give you a job. A nice suit, nice polished shoes, and a clean cut image are all part of the dress for success plan. Having a calm attitude is part of the plan as well.
When you are searching for a job, you try anything to get a job interview. You ask for the manager and you make sure that your resume is up to par with their décor of employees. It would make sense that you would like to do the same for a job interview. Always being well educated about the company is a good bonus. This way you can tell your possible employer the duties of the job you are applying for.
