Disney Cruise Line Jobs

If you want to pursue Disney Cruise Line jobs, it is important that you know and understand what crew life is like once you are hired for a position. This particular ship offers enough space for twenty five hundred guests and is considered to be a position that is relatively fast paced. In addition to performing your responsibilities that are part of the position that you are hired for, you will also engage in training sessions that will help to optimize your overall performance. In addition to basic core training, safety sessions and other activities are offered to employees. Despite the hard work and dedication it takes to obtain and maintain Disney Cruise Line jobs, you will discover your own "Disney Magic" daily! Now, on to the crew life!

Your Living Space

If you are attempting to gain employment with a Disney Cruise Line, or have recently been offered a position, it is likely that you will take an interest in understanding your living space. First off, it is important to understand that most rooms that are designated as living quarters are designed to house up to three employees at one time. Unfortunately, the space is quite limited, but it provides ample room for you to rest and relax when you are not working. You will enjoy accommodations such as television, the ability to play DVDs, and even a small refrigerator to store those snacks that you love! You will also have a bathroom that has a sink, toilet, and shower.

Areas of Interest

Those that are lucky enough to obtain one of the many Disney Cruise Line jobs will find that there are many areas of interest throughout the ship for them to enjoy their time off. These areas are specifically geared towards employees and not guests. First, you will have access to an internet café. You can browse, chat, play games, and even send emails to your loved ones while working. You will also have a fitness center that will allow you to stay in shape, which has a wide assortment of exercise equipment. A swimming pool and a private diner are also offered to employees. If you want to have a little recreation time, you will enjoy the room that allows you to play pool, and even play video games!

Your Contract

If you have qualified for one of the many Disney Cruise Line jobs, you will be required to work on a contract. These contracts typically consist of the following:

• Three Month
• Four Month
• Five Month
• Six Month
• Eighth Month

When you start work, you will notice that this job is usually more than just a standard forty hour work week. In fact, many employees work daily! You will have a standard rate of pay and will qualify for any overtime worked, up to twenty four hours a week. Once your contract has ended, you will typically have about two months off before starting on the next contract. Disney Cruise Line jobs are an excellent choice for individuals who love Disney, enjoy customer service, and have a desire to travel!
