Video Game Testers - The Dream Can Become a Reality!

Forget going to college, forget working in an office, and forget having a crappy job that you absolutely hate. There are better ways to live and one of them is to become one of the video game testers for the developers of games. This is, of course, assuming you love to play video games and you would rather be playing games than sitting in a cubicle doing whatever it is your boss has you doing. Here are the benefits of testing games for a living.

First, and probably the most important benefit is the cash you can make. Once you get your first video game testers job you will be able to get many more if you do a good and professional job. This means very good money. Most will make between $100 and $200 for the first game they test and if you keep at it you can be making as much as $500 per game. If you did 2 games a week you would be making $48,000 a year assuming you take 4 weeks off for vacation time.

Second, you also get some very nice fringe benefits when you are one of the video game testers. Most of the time you have access to games before they are released and the games you test you usually get to keep a copy of them. Imagine if you got to test the next big game coming out and you had a copy of it a year before it was ever released. You would be the envy of all of your friend and you could already beat them at a game they have not even heard of yet.

Last, if you really want to know what you can actually make with video game testing, then you need to know what some of those that are doing it make. One of my friends, who I referred, plays the games he tests about 5 to 6 hours per day 5 to 6 days a week and he is making nearly $1,500 a week. He has only been at it for about 3 months now, but he quit his full time job after the first month and is actually making more money each week than he ever made at his job.
