The Police Recruitment Test

I wanted to talk to you about the police recruitment test that you will be doing. If you want to get recruited by a police department, than you're going to have to have to go through a testing process. A lot of people assume that the test will be like something that they would have taken in high school, but it's not like that. School was designed to objectively measure your aptitude, where this is for a job. They have no desire to look at some objective measurement of aptitude. They want to have the best of the best, so they have the luxury of giving a very hard police recruitment test and if you want the job you're going to have to pass.

One of the most common types of questions that you'll get on this test is the mug shot question. They show a picture of a criminal and a few other pictures that look like the same person. You have to identify the person in the mug shot to one of the other pictures added. All the people look the same, except for slight differences like a different hair cut or a fatter face. If you haven't done anything like this before than you won't realize how hard it is to figure out.

The police recruitment test is generally done in a very packed area. A lot of people will be taking this all at once, which can be very intimidating. I suggest that you sit at the front, so that you don't have to see all the people around you. It's much less intimidating this way.
